New haircut

Went for a haircut at orchard. It was cut by my old hairstylist Edmund, whom I have not seen for more than a year. Surprisingly, he remembered how I look like cos he went out of the salon to greet me while I was still quite a distance away!

His assistant who was blowdrying my hair ask me if I was still studying, which made me burst out laughing. Boy, he made my day. Must be cause I was not wearing any make-up. There was a time when my skin condition was like shit, now that it's improved quite abit, I try to let my skin breath normally as much as possible. And turns out the assistant thought I was younger than him, and he is only 23..haha.

Bought this braclet at Far East Plaza, the cost is only $3.30.


Suddenly have this craving for ice cream! Ice-cream can take your troubles away..if you dun eat it too often. Haven come out with frens to eat ice-cream and chit chat for some time...hopefully soon..

Cell Group since eons ago..

Sun - Talked to Eric on msn until morning. He is nice to chat to, especially since we both need solace. He surprisingly used "intriging" and "cool" to describe me. Shocking rite? But it made me happy la, hehe.

So in the end I went down to C's cell group in the morning without catching a wink. It was due long, long ago as I had told her before I will go down to "support" her. It's quite some time I met so many new people and I was quite shy. Din talk much to them but I am sure they are all nice people, AND young to boot. The prize of youth..

It's light years that I since went to a cell group and its kinda strange and weird. I am not sure what to do with my hands, or whether should I close my eyes? One of the worship song lyrics caught my eye. it goes something like "i want to know u more, the greatest thing in my life is meeting you". It was striking to me because I was just thinking, if people really mean it. It's just lyrics, sure, but if you really sing it fervantly, are you prepared to know Him fervantly as well? In your actions, are you really doing ur best to get to know God better as compared to lip service. Its a coincidence that the message for that day was sort of related as well.

Cause just like when you love a person, you want to understand everything about him. What are his fav movies, his fav songs that he listens when he is down, why does he act the way he do, what exactly is going on in his mind, what makes him tick. Everything. And so I read up on psychology intensively, just to get a glimpse of what he might be. It's not till Eric pointed out to me that I realized it as well.

So same thing, if u can worship and praise God fervantly, there must be actions that complement this as well. Say only things you mean. If you don't mean it, then don't say it. And if you mean it, then dare to say it! (but only if its something good k?) This applies to all areas of life.

Sat - Went orchard road with mum as she wanted to walk around to see the Great Singapore Sale. The crowd made me sick, yucks. I don't think there is nothing much going on for the sale, or maybe I just don't really care. Somehow I don't really go for shopping anymore, and it was not one of my favourite activities to begin with. I hate going endlessly to every shop to compare and try things out like shoes, outfits etc. If I like something at first sight, usually it's the best one for me. I try it out, and I buy it. I kinda have a guy's mind when it comes to shopping.

Think my mum was more enthuastic about walking around. It's cos of her persuasion that i bought the shoes and clutch. On the way back on the mrt, there was a lady standing in front of us who had a large bugger of an insect on her back. My mum and I started deliberating whether to let the lady know..in the end my mum did told her, but she don't dare to touch the insect, leading a caucasian man beside us to do the job. He swiped it off the lady's back, causing a small commotion in the cabin.

Autumn

I love autumn, it's my favourite season, for the lush warm tones of nature makes it all so utterly romantic..Can you hear the cackling sound of the crisp, dry leaves under your feet? Is it over and final? He thinks it is, and that only makes me want to continue to strive on. My thinking deviates from the norm, but that's me.

A person that is loved by another will have a invisible cloak of protection settling silently over them. It's not tangible, but I am sure love has a power of its own.
