With Cousin Chun, he is the younger brother
With my sister-in-law who is younger than me by 2 yrs
With Cousin Cheryl who just recently aced all her exams
With cousin Ben who is a dance teacher and reputedly an "auntie killer" bcos he mostly teaches Tais-Tais
With Valerie who is my youngest cousin at 4 years old, she has 3 older sisters and they are all adorable!
She accidentally closes her eyes while taking this picture
Me with Nicole, the oldest sister of Valarie.
Me with Natalie, the 2nd oldest.
Me and Felicia, the 3rd oldest
Valerie and Felicia, think they are 2 years apart. All of them look so much prettier with longer hair..Not sure why their mum wants to cut it.
With my distant cousin Sam who is currently situated in the States, actually he is not really a blood relative but no matter cos i grew up with him in the same house for ten years.
This is taken from Sam's camera
My niece Sandra, her hair is so nicely tied up at the wedding dinner
But after taking it off it looks darn funny
Some self shots
Lastly, a group pic from Sam's camera

Pics taken at CNY..mostly frm my phone
With cousin Chun, 2 yrs younger. Normally he looks much better but then he went and got his hair cut by a fren who convinced him that his hairstyle is "in". That fren is lying.
mood swings
something terribly mortifying happened to me yesterday. without going into details, lets just say i totally "threw my face". glad that the bookfest is over. recently i have been experiencing extreme mood swings that i actually thought something is wrong with me. anyway its not abt any specific issue, just all the little stuff accumulated tat breaks me down, little things tat pollute my mood one after another. nw i truly hope tat everything is over and that once again i can regain control of my emotions. here's to sanity, welcome back to my life.

going out..new hp suggestions?
Today is my off day after the bookfest ends. Getting ready to go out with mum to meet sis at amk hub. Mum is doing her dental appt, and after that we will prob walk around abit and eat dinner. Dun really feel like going out late, actually i dun really feel like going out. But there is no lunch and the hunger pangs are setting in.
Plus I really need to check out the prices of a new mobile phone. I have been aiming for a SE C905, but he keeps telling me to go for a cheaper one in case I lost my mobile again. I never ever splurged in a gadget before, and I want a first time. Then I can finally take pictures without it being blur when the subject moves?

being alone is not so bad after all.
being in my own world is not so bad after all.
i dislike crowds.
i dun want to smile without meaning it.
i rather keep to myself..its so pointless to blend in when i dun desire to be.
unfortunately, social norms means i have to pander to this behaviour to be accepted.
tats sucks.
i din change. i am just too tired to mask anything now.

visiting baby julian
Had a good time at syl's place with keri last Sat. We were there in the noon to visit baby julian whom I have not got to seen since his birth. Keri left earlier, so I stayed for a few hrs more chatting with Syl n Joa. Took some pics of baby Julian, he seems to keep yawning or sleeping or hungry. It's really hard to be a mum..

I was also too lazy to head back since I din make any plans that day. Finally went back at 9plus to my house by cab to meet Benny who rented Zoolander and Suspect X with recommendations from Syl and Joa. Zoolander is funny in a really brainless way, while Benny fell asleep halfway watching Suspect X. :(
It's alrite, still managed to finish it by myself. Quite nice, but the ending is quite tragic. I don't understand why the suspect did what he did.

cool place for kids
There's this cool place at Sembawang Shopping Centre that provides lots of entertainment for kids, makes me wish I was one just for the abandon of running around wet in public without any self-consciousness. Been thinking of bringing my niece there to play next time when she is more stable and able to run.

tidying up my room
Finally tided up my room YAYYY!!!! We actually hauled EVERYTHING out from it's depths, sifted through it to decide what would stay and leave, and decide on where best to place the items.
It has been Benny's dream..cos he even dreamt abt it haha.
So now my room looks clean and comfortable instead of clothes and clutter littering the whole room. We actually spent TEN HOURS(4pm plus to 2am plus) with less than an hr's break in between. It is backbreaking work siah...at the end of everything I could have easily just dropped on the bed and slept within minutes, which was what I did. (no insommia whoohoo!)
Actually the work was not equally divided becos most he did like 70% of the work...He is awesome, I am just amazed that he actually ENJOYS doing it. Oh wow. It puts me to shame really.
I think we took out 3 bags of rubbish and a big bag intended to give to Salvation army. It's also the first time I ever knew what my drawers contained as my mum threw all she dictates as rubbish into my drawers. I found tons and tons of receipts ranging to a few years back, one of my fav 21st bd present that I was trying to find for ages, and all the old neoprints and photos taken yrs back, and notebooks I used to write in. I read abit and shocked to find out what kind of stuff I have been writing. Read some of it out loud to Benny for a laugh, I have no idea at all cos time has actually swiped out some of the memories.
Now that almost everything has been put into place neatly, I can start thinking up ideas to decorate my room..still thinking...

KL Trip
I am back from my KL trip! Guess not much people even know I am even going there in the first place. It's for my oldest cousin's wedding(he is 45yrs old) n his wife is 38yrs old n 5mths pregnant. It's a classic case of "buy big, get small free". My cousin is overjoyed at the prospect of being a dad going by his ear-to-ear grin. Am happy for him, even if I have to admit I din't tok much to him. But since he is the oldest cousin after all, getting hitched was a big occasion and almost everyone of our relatives turned up except for my own brother who was unfortunately unable to make it.
This is the first time I bought along a significant other, and I am glad that he was able to accompany me through all the delays and changes and being at the mercy of my relative's transport. (next time we must get a car of our own!) I super duper envy my spore relatives who all went back in a car and thus they were able to get around on their own without being subjected to other people's time arrangement. Malaysia is not a safe place after all and for all the endless waiting for my relatives to fetch us to and fro, I was about bored to tears. :( (even cabs are out of the question due to safety issues.)So to reiterate, we(I) need a car!!!! (or my brother available to drive us, hehe)
Having said that, it was kinda good to see my relatives, just tat the issue of transport always spoilts my mood when I cun go anywhere as fast as I want to. Have not seen most of them in years, and during this time quite a few of them have got married and got kid(s) of their own. It's quite unsettling to see so many toddlers and youngsters running about and I cun even begin to figure which child belongs to which cousin! And there were so many relatives that I din manage to say a sentence or two..some I din even get to speak to at all. Such a pity. But there were too many people and I was too lost.
I din get to take photos of my baby niece with other kids..namely Owen and Wanting. *arrggghhh*
All along I had wanted to get a photo of them and now they are walking and even Wanting is running already and still no pic! Haizz..I forgot to take along my mobile too, so couldnt go around taking photos of other kids...din get to take much photos with my cousins either...most of them bought along their significant others as well..seems like they are keeping to themselves or maybe it's just me. But we did take quite a few reunion photos, although I looked like a fat cow in almost all of them.
Went up to Genting at the last minute as well. Benny and I are supposed to go back to spore yesterday, but my bro who arrived in the morning at KL only yesterday wanted to drive up to Genting for a few hrs, so we thought, why not just go up for a few hours then take a bus there to spore directly? So off we(sister, benny, bro and his wife) went...then my bro's car broke down on the way..after the time wasted, we reached at Genting around 2.40pm. Saw that the last bus to spore was at 3.30pm, and we had no choice but to buy the tickets..so disappointing. So with no time to spare, we ate at Burger King and went off to board the bus at 3.15pm. Very sad rite? All the way up to Genting to eat Burger King..
Then since my family won't be back, Benny had to stay over at my hse last nite cos I am such a scaredy cat. We had to head straight for his house after reaching the spore custom and then he packed his stuff and went back to my hse. Felt bery bad that I had to trouble him...worst that I had to work noon shift today and hence he had to go to work in the morning on his own. Sorry sorry...will make it up to you..
By the way, I am actually typing this rushed entry during my work break. Will update again when I have more time, tada~~

baby visiting
I am supposed to go visit Syl's house with Keri next Sat(finally!).
Found out her house is next to Kovan Mrt station, quite far which is why I have not gotten there yet. Tink the journey will take 1.5hrs...must make sure I stayed there for at least a few hrs so that my journey won't be wasted. It be a good time to catch up with some girls talk, hehe. And of course to play with the baby.

meeting
Just came out of a sales forecast meeting with my manager. I tink its a stressful affair, because I never seem to be able to hit the sales target that she dictated for me. And as for marketing...I have alot(like one big chunk...oh damn) to learn. *nods sagely*

a trapped bee
There is a bee trapped in my sister's wardrobe. I wonder how it got in there? My mum went to open the wardrobe just nw, heard a buzzing noise and saw the bee flying around. That's it. She closed the wardrobe door, leaving the lonely bee free to roam around my sister's clothes.
Mum is hoping my bro will be able to catch it, while sis advocates letting the bee fly out by itself, with any hope it will fly out of our house. Mum tinks its dangerous cos, what if it stings my little niece who is staying with us? I wonder if the bee will die inside the layers of clothes if they dont decide soon. Maybe it just rot there most likely when it tires of flying and lack of food. Not a good thought..but well, its not my wardrobe. *evil laugh*
Going off to sleep. Been having a slight sore throat for a few days. Need more rest. I just dreamt the other day of a group of people being decapitated..these kind of dreams don't make good sleep.

An amusing news report - Secretary accidentally bites off boss' penis
Serves him right! Married still want to have affair la...orh bee good.
A SECRETARY accidentally bit off the penis of her employer while giving him oral sex in a car.
Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported yesterday that while the 30-year-old woman was performing oral sex on the man, the car was hit by a reversing van.
The impact of the crash, China Press reported, caused the woman to bite off her lover's organ.
The daily reported that the incident occurred in a Singapore park where the couple met after work.
To make matters worse for the woman, her husband had sent a private investigator to spy on her after suspecting that she was being unfaithful.
The investigator said he had followed the woman and her boss to the park.
'On reaching the park, they did not alight from the car. Not long after, the car started to shake violently.
After the car was hit by the van, there was a loud scream from the woman whose mouth was covered with blood,' he said.
The woman later followed her lover to the hospital with part of the sexual organ.
The investigator, who called an ambulance to send the man to hospital, said that this was the first time he had encountered such an incident.

What Is *Settling for Less?*
An interesting article i read on net. its kinda long but try to read it! quite useful whether or not you are in a relationship.
In a previous article, I suggested that attracting the kind of people you want to date starts with creating a vision of your ideal relationship -- what I called your --dating road map. This road map is a plan designed to help you describe, find and attract suitable candidates for the job of your life partner.
So let's say that you've been following your road map for awhile now. You're out there in the dating scene, meeting members of the opposite sex online and in person, making conscious decisions about who to date, and (hopefully) using the "One Minute Quiz for Evaluating a Potential Soulmate" as a guide.
And then you get to the third or fourth date with someone. That's when you start noticing how some aspects of your dating partner don't fit with the vision you have of your ideal mate. For many singles, confronting this "fork in the road," is a major dating dilemma. That's because taking an unanticipated turn onto an unknown road toward finding a life partner can be confusing and scary. This is the point when I've seen many singles quickly, and even carelessly, reject someone who could have made a suitable partner.
The challenge at this stage of dating is to look long and hard at the actual live person you're dating and determine what aspects of your ideal relationship vision are mandatory, and which are negotiable. Truthfully, I don't suggest that you do this on your own. It takes a coach or a mentor, an objective person whom you trust, to help you determine the pros and cons of the person you?re dating. Without help, you run the risk of listening to that little voice in your head saying, "Hey, break up with this person. S/he doesn't match up! You'll only be settling for less!"
I believe that "settling for less" inaccurately describes the experience of singles having to compromise some of the characteristics they seek in their ideal mate. To best explain the choices one faces when confronting a "fork in the road," here are a couple of examples:
George feels comfortable and happy when he is with Julia, and sees himself having a future with her, IF ONLY she would be more intellectually stimulating. George has a keen interest in current events and looks forward to reading the news every day. He has tried to interest Julia in discussing news and events with him, and while she is familiar with the world around her, it is not at the level that George would like. On the other hand, they share similar family backgrounds, outdoor interests and spiritual lifestyle goals. They have a good time together, can converse about a variety of subjects, and get along well. George also finds her attractive, but still wonders if he can marry a woman who does not stimulate him intellectually. On the other hand, he has yet to meet anyone else that he enjoys being with as much, overall.
I would suggest to George that he try and view Julia as the intelligent woman she truly is, despite not having as keen an interest in current events as he. I would encourage him to focus on their shared interests and goals, and to imagine Julia as a partner in life rather than solely as an intellectual cohort. I would, of course, remind him that not all people are perfect, yet they can and should be able to grow. I would strongly recommend that since he is attracted to her and enjoys her company, he may already have sufficient information with which to know that they can create a life together.
Anna has gone out with Michael for two months, having met him on an online dating website. She experienced him as nice and attentive, and came away from each date with the confirmation that he was a decent and honest man, with whom she shared similar spiritual and life goals. While she was able to visualize being married to him, she did not feel any excitement about him, or excitement about having a future with him. Anna wondered if it was reasonable to have a marriage that did not have much passion if Michael was, in fact, a nice and kind man. But she wasn't sure if her doubts about him were reason enough to break up either.
I see Anna's situation differently than George's. George is pretty clear and confident about who he is and what he needs; Anna isn't as in touch with her needs, which is the reason why she's confused about Michael. Anna believes that she should marry a man solely because he's kind, honest and decent. This reflects a lack of self-esteem on Anna's part, because if she believed she deserved passion and excitement in a relationship, then she would break up with Michael, no matter how nice and decent he was, and continue searching.
Negotiating a "fork in the road" essentially requires that you have sufficient knowledge about yourself and your needs. Having this knowledge will help you decide what turns to take -- should you disqualify someone because you know you need more than what s/he is capable of giving? Or, since you know that no one is perfect, should you be flexible?
George, in the example above, was challenged to see how his dating partner, Julia, met the majority of his needs for a life partner. This meant that he turn onto the road requiring him to be flexible. Once Anna (in the second example) realizes that she deserves to have passion and excitement in a relationship, she'll turn onto the road disqualifying Michael, which will eventually lead her closer to finding her life partner.
A map is filled with many opportunities to take turns onto other roads that can still get you to where you want to go. If you focus on what is missing in a relationship, then you may be setting yourself up to feel that you are settling for less. But if you choose instead to look at the bigger picture, to see your goal in the distance, and be flexible about turning onto some side roads along the way, you may get to your destination -- finding your life partner -- that much sooner.

a trip to holiday plaza, JB
i was at JB last sat to rebond my hair and do a pair of new specs. i got my hair done at 150ringgit, which was darn cheap and a pricing u cun get in spore. the previous time i rebonded my hair, it din last very long and i cun b bothered. i am not after the poker straight look, just trying to make my hair neater albeit natural since i do tie up my hair almost everyday which is a no-no for rebonded hair.
it took me two 2hrs plus and i was bored to death sitting on the chair, more so for benny who had to wait for me. he bought along a book to read but seems he fell asleep after a while. heck, i wanted to sleep myself.
after tat we went trying for specs and went to a few shops. got a real bargain for this white frame specs tat costs just $150. usually my specs costs at least $200= to 300+ as my degree is quite high, so the pricing goes towards paying for thinner lenses so i don't look so nerdy.
white specs is something new for me. he says it looks striking although i dunno if its in a good way. but anyway its free for me, so its his call. :p
it took me two 2hrs plus and i was bored to death sitting on the chair, more so for benny who had to wait for me. he bought along a book to read but seems he fell asleep after a while. heck, i wanted to sleep myself.

gone, gone, gone, tats my $$$
i dropped my wallet at bishan junction mac last fri. i am so freaky right down pissed. both with myself and to whomever the sorry excuse of a human who took all my money inside, which was my entire commission last mth and which i just withdraw the night bfore. he/she left me penniless for this mth, but at least he/she had the tinest shred of decency or conscience to leave my wallet on the floor for the staff at mac to pick it up. tats y i can safely say its a human and not a beast.
at first when i was informed through phone tat mac had my wallet, i was filled with joy and relief. my sis went to pick it up as benny n i were heading on the way to jb. in the evening, my joy turned to shock when my sis sms him to say all my cash is missing. without skipping a beat, he added "hope the person go n d** lo, mayb by tomlo". wow, such poisonous words, even if the same thought did occur to me.
i am still terribly upset, i realli wanted to buy somethjing for myself, like a hp.

i just opened my email at work half an ago and there was an email from from benny. which was not surprising considering we email each other everyday. but then the subject header was a major shocker.

suppression
i know i am getting more temperamental of late. at this point of time, i shd be happy. which i am, sometimes. other times i am on the verge of tears and it seems as if an unseen fist is wrapping its hand around my heart and giving it a gentle squeeze. nothing too dramatic, but still rather unpleasant. i dun know wats wrong with me, or rather i do. had a long conversation with him over the phone just nw and he took time to reassure me. i know he is tryin his best, i realli do. it's my own self, my own expectations tat i need to change. i need to restraint myself and get over the withdrawal symptoms.

he is so sweet
he is so sweet. we were supposed to meet up tomorrow but i was asked in this evening if i wanted to do noon shift for tomorrow. so called him n told him abt it n he told me "do lo". was sad cos in tat case couldn't get to see him, wats more my library books are with him cos he helped me to go collect yesterday.
so anyway i was taking the mrt back hme and abt to reach admiratly, then remembered my sot sot phone confirmed no network, so i took it out n restarted the phone. then immed the phone rang n it was him, asking where i was and if i am hme yet. abit puzzled but continued a conversation with him...then i was asking him how come the background so noisy then he told me he watchin tv. hmmm...so once i reached admiralty, told him i call him back later as i got to go buy something to eat. as soon as i came out of the mrt station, i heard someone calling my name..and it's him! i was stunned...my brain freezed over. i couldn't think of any reason y he would be in admiralty for goodness sake and it's alry 10pm! know wat he told me? he say it's cos he wanted to give me my library books...isn't tat sweet? cos u n i both know tats not the real reason... :D
so he sent me up to my hse bfore going back. it's the sweetest thing in the world bcos i certainly din expect tat. i really have to get over my insecurities tats biting at me...i dun wan it to be a dream.

i dreamed a dream..from britain got talent
watched this video a few days back...cried the first two times i watched it..it says alot tat i am watching this video in the middle of the night..this little video gives us so many lessons...look at it n u know wat i mean..look at the expressions on the judge's and audience's faces..she showed them good alright!
her voice is so uplifting but the song is so sad..kept replayin this song over and over..is it the voice or the lyrics tat's getting to me? it reminds me of something..somehow..
so i am putting this up bcos:
1) love her voice!
2)love the song, the lyrics!
actually i like quite a few songs from musicals even though i have never watched a musical before...somehow the lyrics for the songs in musicals are so expressive..it just make my heart ache...are there really dreams that cannot be?
Susan Boyle - I Dreamed a Dream - Pipo
There was a time, when men were kind
And their voices were soft
And their words were inviting
There was a time, when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time it all went wrong
I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untested
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
But there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed

some little musings..
Why am I the only one suay enough to get bitten by sandflies while the rest of those having dinner are unharmed? I found the answer. .
gobygirl Posted on 22/07/04 14:19
The real trick to not having sandfly bites (and all other manners of biting and stinging insects) is not repellent, in my humble opinion. It is to bring a sacrifice - one person who attracts mossies, sandflies etc and VOILA! insects no more. This method is tried and tested and has proven to win hands down!
Just kidding.

sandflies, not mosquitoes
Soon after reporting for work this morning, I walked over to our company clinic that was nearby to see a docter for my bites. It kept me up all nite too because it was so itchy and painful and swollen. The docter thought it could be sandflies and gave me a med to take in the morning, another to take at nite, plus a cream to apply twice a day. Once the nurse passed me the medicine, I took it right on the spot. (ya..i was that desperate for the itch to stop)
Anyway, I googled up sandflies(i should know more about the enemy rite?) and this is what it says:
A sand flea bite is most likely to occur at dawn or in the evening and night time hours on the beach or other sandy areas that are near water. Wetlands, swamplands, creeks, and lakebeds are other areas where sand fleas can be found. Sand fleas generally stay close to their breeding ground. They never wander more than 350 feet or about 100 meters from their breeding area. Sand flea swarms produce a high-pitched wine. Therefore, if you are on the beach and you hear something like this, it is best to move or risk a sand flea bite.
The fleas will jump onto the feet, ankles, legs, and then bite. They are very persistent and quite annoying. Because of their small size, a sand flea bite occurs before individuals even know any sand fleas were in the area. Like a mosquito, a sand flea bites to suck blood. It is the female sand fly that bites. It does this in order to get the protein from the blood that is necessary for its egg laying. The sand flea bite involves the injection of saliva to thin the blood, making it easier for the flea to take blood from its victim. This same saliva triggers the body’s immune system to react.
Despite its size, the bite from a sand flea is quite painful. In fact, most of the time the bite is more painful than one from a typically larger mosquito. In addition to pain, the bite causes a large welt or rashes on the skin that can persist for several days. A fever may also occur. The welts or hives produced from bites are very itchy. Scratching the bitten areas should be avoided in order to prevent the development of an infection. Scratching will also prolong the symptoms of swelling, itch, and skin redness.
Sandflies bites are best avoided. It takes days or weeks to heal. The itchiness never go away and you scratch yourself until you bleed. They are often found near sea shores. It only take minutes and you won’t notice their bites until its too late.
Sandflies bites are intensely itchy and last for days. Bleeding and infection occurs when a person scratch non-stop.
Damn, that explains why it itches so much that I wanted to cry at times. It's terrible, I tell you. Scratching myself in my sleep until I woke up. .*sob* I am resigned to the fact that it might leave a mark, but well, it just go away in time.

itchy day
Went out for dinner with his family at Bottletree Park's open-air restarant to celebrate his mum's birthday. I got a good deal as they picked me up before heading there..hehe..the unfortunate thing is as it's an open-air restaurant, the mosquitoes were free to prey on me despite the fact that there were lighted mosquitoes repellant incense underneath the table.
The bites kept me up all nite as it's super itchy lo. I counted 15 bites, most of it on my legs and the swollen type. Bought mopiko or wu bi gao today to sooth my itches..today is a super itchy day. :(

friday updates
The whole dept is empty except for me. It's time for me to take leave..hehehe.
Activities coming up for me:
1)horse riding in kluang
2) treetop walk in MacRitchie
3) a nite out at Danga Bay
4) trying out wildrocket as recommended by Carrie (reviews seem pretty good)
Hmm..there seems to be some more thought that I missed out.
So what have I been up to? After the JC period was over for last mth, slacked big time in the office until I realised with panic that I might not be able to hit this mth's target. Been working hard and hit my target a few days back *phew*.
Something sad to update: a few days after I got my commision, it got deducted by my tiertary bank loan. So all my plans of buying a new hp and giving treats came to naught....starting over again.

back from a quick lunch
Just came back from lunch. The weather is so humid that my face is all flushed..i am melting away. I went for lunch alone because my colleagues had some work to do and after waiting for an hr, i am so hungry i abandoned them and went off by myself for a quick one. Went down to the north bridge road market which i just discovered its existence yesterday. I am actually the type of people that doesn't mind eating by myself, then i won't have to talk or feel obliged to in the case of awkward silence. I rather enjoy my own company much of the time.
Syl commented recently tat i have changed, thankfully its for the better. Maybe i have. Nw tat i have something in life to work forward to and a person who makes me want to do my best..hope it lasts.

exercising misadventures
Our exercise regime has so far been a mild disaster. This afternoon I met him up at Clementi, and we drove to West Coast Park with the intention of cycling for two hours. Turns out there was no bike rental shop EVEN THOUGH the west coast park site map dictates otherwise. I wonder how long has it not been updated? It's the 2nd time we made a wasted trip in 2 weeks, damn.
Then plan B was to go his house for gym and a swim. So we headed to my house to get my swimwear, and also to pass him the brochures and ferry timings for Bintan we are supposed to book for this sat. We went by the long way..bukit batok, then we PASS HIS HOUSE...after which it started to rain heavily, then at the juncture where we are supposed to turn into my area(woodlands ave 12), he missed it and we were on the road to Yishun. Of course the missed turn was attributed to me, cos I was talking to him. I wasn't in the best of moods while in the car because the rain was a real damper plus the fact we were sorta lost, but then he smiles and says as long as we are together. He is getting to be quite a sweet talker, but in my heart I wish for it to be true. In the end, we came back to my place tired and dizzy from the long ride. No more exercise, we had to rest. Stayed at my house for 1 hr plus then he had to go back and return the car.
And on wed, we went his house after work for gym. The plan was to exercise first before eating dinner. But I was too hungry and we ended up having dinner first, which made us so lazy to go gym after that. But we perservered! And then while I was putting on my sports shoes, I realised the sport shoes were of different sizes, albeit same designs. Turns out one of them belongs to my sister.
Even though the shoes were both for the right feet, he encouraged me to wear it because it should still be wearable rite? Yeah...I was already sceptical but still I tried it on even though when my left feet was squeezed into a sports shoe that was a size too small, I could feel my feet being uncomfortably and contorted unnaturally in the opposite direction. When I tried to take a step, it was a killer. I think it was lucky I didn't sprain anything, I really thought my left feet was a goner for a moment. In the end I lended his old sports shoes which were too big for me but alot more comfortable.
That's it for this entire week.
My plan of swimming yesterday was also squashed due to my sis flying me an aeroplane and by the time she "flew" the aeroplane, it was already about 7pm and I don't think its safe for me to swim alone in the dark considering I am far from a strong swimmer.
Got to met up with Carrie and her bf Lawrence instead at Causeway point for some bread, corn soup, milk tea etc. Lawrence was baptised yesterday and Carrie did invited me to go, but I decided not to in the end as there were too many people and I did not know what was expected. They shared with me their knowledge of buying flats, it's quite interesting and it be useful in time to come.

work
And so my colleague left on thursday. She left a handwritten note on my table which I only saw when I got back from my break. In short, she says its been a great pleasure to know me, hope I will achieve what I wanted to do. Stay in contact etc. She's a sweet gal, I'll miss her.
Now I am feeling down about going back to work tomorrow. Had a short nap just now and I had ugly nightmares....some about work. I am sure my manager is going to target me next.
