Apparently Lot one is having some renovations now, and a lot of places are not open, like my fav mushrooms from shilin night market stall which I had been eagerly anticipating the night before. My, how mortifying. Junwei and I actually walked ard the place trying to find the kbox from our memory before we surrendered.
So we popped on to Partyworld at woodlands civic centre instead. Had an enjoyable time. The good thing about only two people belting out songs is the ease of:
1) scrunching up ur face in concentration, eyes closed
2) clutching ur heart, the mark of a broken Romeo
3) bobbing your head vigourously
4) swaying your body vigourously
5) gesturing enthuastically with ur free hand
6) sprawling out on the seats like no one's business
This is only one of the most comfortable ways...
And junwei has a nice singing voice as I guessed from the way he speaks. Must ask him to go ktv again. Some of the pics taken below.
He looks rather "dao" in this pic rite? But when he smiles, such a difference. Cos he actually has smiling eyes n two dimples. I rather much prefer his smile.
After that, went back home to rest for a while. Was supposed to meet Carrie up for movie in the evening but she wanted to watch Incredible Hulk, so decided to meet up with the woodlanders, Kennedy, Shixing and Mae instead. After that, Carrie suggested to watch Kung Fu Panda, which was just what I wanted, but I had already promised Kennedy..sorry..
In the evening, went down join them at the same place. Civic centre partyworld again. I must be crazy. Din really sing, the point of my going there was just to catch up with them. We took lots of stupid pics, have to get them from Kennedy first before posting them up.
