Some Happy Stuff

1) My little cousin Nicole called me frm JB last nite! ~Woah~ Was I surprised? I was shocked haha. She complained that she had called me before loads of times but I never picked up. Wat happened was when she called, it was from a withheld number, and most times I don't pick up calls from private numbers in case it's a prank call. She was lucky I chose to pick up yesterday. Anyway the reason she called was to ask me when I am going to JB to find them, and to inform me they are having school holidays this week so I can come in on weekdays. I am happy she called, but I wondered, what should I do with them? It's not like spore where I can take them out to places via our easy transportation system.

In JB, you go everywhere by car or taxi and wat's more, it's not really my "territory". If I play badminton, I surely win one wat, as I had mentioned to her before. Swimming I don't really know how to, unless it's playing with water. Hmmm. The last time I went their house, all four of the kids grabbed me in different directions to show me:

a) their cupboard where it stored their clothes, their drawings, trophies, diaries etc
b) how their bed looks like and which place they are sleeping
c) their photos

Mind you, it's 4 kids fighting to show off each of their stuff while I went 'ooh' and 'ahh'..
Then it's off to the parents room where they fight over which video to watch with me. After the crying and shouting, they finally decided on a suitable title to watch. It's those children educational videos..so ya, had to watch with them with feigned interest cos it's one of their favourites.

After all the typing, I still have no idea what to do with them...

2) Saw my old neighbour, Jeremy online last nite and found out he had recently bought a 3 week old shih tzu. Tink it shd b very cute, so I be going over to his place to have a look and do some catching up. Haven seen him for a while since he shifted house. From a 5min walk away, he shifted to Marsiling, where I used to live. My only neighbour in Admiralty left..all the rest I know are also located in Marsiling, I am the only add one out. =_+
Hope to take some pics of the puppy hehe.

3) Jeff called me just now regarding something he put up for me in a website. He wanted to know if I have already seen it, which I have not. Well, it's a pleasant surprise I guess! Din see that coming haha. So if you are reading this, thanks la. Just now I din see the words properly until after you put the phone down. :)

4) Saw one of my fren Albert online, he says he really misses me and swears to it. At least someone does miss me after all. Feels good. :)

5) Saw my cousin Terence online, missed him! Since he married and had a baby, I hardly see him anymore. He told me life has become harder but more fulfilling. I have been finding myself getting into discussions with various people abt marriage...but shan't comment abt it for the time being.

Recent Movies

I was "ordered" by my sis to watch this show with mum cos my bro had alry watched it and he recommended mum to watch it as she is sort of an ABBA fan. In fact i tink my whole family is. (mum, sis and bro) Me? I am born in the wrong generation.

So without any notion of what this movie is all about, mum and I went to watched it at cwp. The cinema was icy n i had forgotten to bring my sweater. Mum gave me her very thin shawl which wasn't much of a use..in the end she used the newspapers she bought to cover me up..haha.

The show itself was quite entertaining, and i am sure i would have enjoyed it much more had i not been distracted by the cold. To my surprise, I recognized some of the songs they sang in the movie....must have heard it during my childhood years? All in all, it's a feel-good movie with the ending kinda romantic..*sniffs*

Most importantly, my mum enjoyed herself. I am just the prop accompanying her.

A dear fren suggested watching this show as it seems nice from the storyline. We din managed to make it to the initial timing(11.50am) as both of us are late. So we shifted it to The Cathay where the show was starting at 1.10pm. There wasn't alot of people watching as the showtime was in the noon. When we entered into the theatre and sat down, to our/my surprise, it was actually couple seats. It's only my second time in a couple seat, but its addictive! So much space without the arm rest hehe.

Hmm...the movie was ok only. There were a few laughs here and there, it's a comedy after all. But there wasn't much action..just bang here bang there. The ending was abit queer also...By comparision, Mama Mia would be a bette movie to watch. But then, I am in wonderful company... :)

Signs that Show if Someone Is in Love with Someone Else

Chanced upon this article on the net. How to know whether or not he/she is in love with someone else within 30 minutes on a first meeting. Not sure if it's true, but interesting!

Identifying with the person:
Phrases like “Hey, you know what? Your personality is very close to mine”, “Me too!! I adore orange juice” or "Sarah and I both hate physics" are perfect examples of someone who is trying to identify with someone else. Usually when someone falls in love, he tries to identify with the person he loves and this can be noticed by paying close attention to the phrases that he/she is using.

Watch for the eyebrow:

In body language, touching your eye brow with one finger then passing your finger along it to the side has no other meaning other than that you have evaluated something positively. If a person always sees someone in a positive light, you'll be able to know by watching his body langauge.

Looking for any excuse to talk about him/her:
When someone falls in love with someone else, he/she usually feels eager to talk about that person and so tries to find any excuse to mention the person's name in front of others even if the excuse was making fun of him!!! For example: “you know, I think Sarah is really weird..”

Frequency of moving her hair:
When a girl moves her hair backwards using one hand so that she reveals her ear, this usually means that she is interested in the person she is talking/listening to. If this is repeated several times while talking to a specific person, this could mean she is extremely interested in him or, in other words, she is in love with him.

Being anxious when being with him/her:
Almost everyone cares very much about the impression that the person he loves forms of them and as a result they tend to be very anxious in the presence of that person, especially on first meetings.

Minding his own business:
“You know what, I think you'd look really good wearing a red shirt.” The previous phrase is a perfect example of a girl who is in love with a guy. Although there was no reason for her to talk about his dressing style, she just couldn’t resist the urge to make him look better, and this goes for any types of advice that may improve anything in his life.

Hyper-activity:
Do you notice how you behave right after you meet the person you love? If the meeting went well then you'll most probably notice that you have become hyperactive; doing things that you usually don’t do and saying things that you usually don’t say. This hyper-activity can be a very good indication of whether someone is in love with someone else or not.

You are The Lovers

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse.

The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.

Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.

Master

Okay so you've either cheated, or you know all the vocabulary rules by now. "I before E, except after c." bla bla bla. Great job. You know how to spell, and you might be a bit anal retentive about it too. Not a bad thing mind you, but I get picked on for it. An answer key is what you're after? http://quizanswerkey.blogspot.com/

Hot Tamale

You're hot! You've read a lot. You've done a lot, and there's a lot you'd like to try in the future. You've got a sharp, sexy mind, and few inhibitions to restrain you from exploring all the pleasure you can get. You have few hang-ups, and there's not much you don't know about sex. You're open-minded and able to enjoy things that would make a lesser person squeamish.

You're an exceptional treat as a lover, appreciated greatly by those who know the differnce. You were probably bored with a few of the people you've been with in your past, feeling like you had to drag them along with you in the sexual adventures you want to have, and probably dumping them for the same reason. It takes a lot to stimulate you; you realize it's not just about bumping uglies. In the end there's gotta be a lot more to it.

Still, there is always room for improvement. Before you can graduate into a true sexual genius, there are a few things you've got to learn, to explore, to think through, talk through, and fuck through. A good place to start is in taking a look at the few things you're still a little hesitant to try. Break down you're last few barriers and discover the outer sexual frontiers, and you'll become a master.

Love Signals

Subjected to evaluation haha.

Private Distance:
When you're interested in someone you tend to keep a smaller private distance between you and him/her compared to the distance you would otherwise keep while being with others. You will notice that whoever might be interested in you is standing closer to you than to other people.

Smiles that Don’t Fade:
A smile will not fade away quickly if the person is genuinely interested in you (that does not have to be love but worst case scenario, it will be deep interest). Only fake smiles fade away quickly, true smiles stay tend to linger a little longer.

Positive Evaluation:
In body language rubbing your brows with your fingers means that you positively evaluated something.

Calling for No Reason:
Calling you for any trivial reason like asking about something that he/she already knows or by just seeking confirmation to some kind of information. If they were smart enough, they may find a good reason to call you but when the frequency of these calls increases, this usually indicates that there is something behind it.

Smiling:
Smiling while talking to you even if there was no good reason for smiling is another strong sign. In most cases he/she will try to hide the smile so they will appear as if they want to smile but are holding themselves

Orientation:
Orienting himself/herself in your direction even if they were standing with other people. Orienting themselves means that they stand with their shoulders parallel to yours and with their toes pointing towards you. For more information see The body language section

Nice or Cold?

Being very nice one day and ignoring you the other day is one of the strongest signs. The logic behind this is very simple, at the beginning he/she treats you very nicely because they like you but when they go home they realize: “Oh my God, I did show lots of signs today that am interested but I still got no response, tomorrow I should totally ignore him/her.” So when you find someone being nice one day and cold the other day know that the positive signs he/she gave you may be due to positive emotions they hold for you and that the negative signs may just be a way to cover their traces.

Mr./Mrs. Everywhere:
Meeting him/her many times by coincidence is another sign. Of course these are not just coincidences but they may be either changing their schedule to suit yours or they may be going to the places that you usually go to in order to meet you by coincidence.

Your Friends Are Really Nice:
Starting to care more about your friends and becoming more nice to them is a strong sign especially if he/she wasn’t used to caring about them before.

Cancellations:
Canceling their other plans in order to see you.

Where Are You?:
Finally the person who loves you will try to keep you within their range of sight and each now and then they will take a look to make sure that you are still there.

You Would Be Voted Most Shy

You're not exactly known for being a social butterfly.

At school, you were content to be an observer.

And while you are shy, going to school simply made you shyer.

Your friends don't probably think of you as shy. You're happy to talk around the right people!

You Are Bold When it Counts

You don't make a big fuss about getting what you want... unless it's really important to you.

Then you're as bold as you want to be. You just go for it!

You're often up for a little excitement and adventure. Well, as long as the cost isn't too great.

You enjoy risk, but not for it's own sake. Let's just say you've learned a few lessons about risk in your life.

What Your Bed Says About You

Outward appearances aren't important to you at all. You think that the over emphasis on looks to be shallow.

Your life tends to be completely chaotic. You aren't a very organized person, and you tend to be slow in cleaning up messes.

You are very low maintenance. You tend to go with the flow, and you're easily pleased.

In relationships, you tend to kick back and let the other person be in charge.

You tend to be a dreamy, head in the clouds type of person. You think in terms of possibilities.

You are a bit of a homebody, but you can also make yourself at home anywhere.

You Are 55% Kinky

You are a very kinky person. You are completely open minded about sexuality.

You're up for something different from time to time, and you don't have many hang ups.

And while you're not into everything, you don't judge people who are.

You figure that anything between consenting adults is fair game!

Ya man my blog is getting rusty Part 3: sakae sushi..goodness me!

Went down with Mum and baby to meet our aunt at cwp Sakae Sushi. My aunt bought along her granddaughter, Wanting!

Had an enjoyable time chatting with my aunt and mum while the two toddlers entertained themself. My aunt told us a real life ghost story that involves her as the main lead..it was sending shivers up my spine.

Halfway through the chat, Wanting fell asleep.

Different position....

See tat red mark? It's left frm her previous sleeping postiion hehe...

Took this pics when we came out of Sakae Sushi...

Anyway, its a thought-provoking day...for i realised by going out with the kids, people must have seen me as the mummy..

Scenario: Wanting ran n fell down to the ground. My aunt went to scooped a crying Wanting up and pacified her. An old lady passed by and stopped to chat with my aunt, giving me a few looks now and then. My aunt laughed, nodded her head and turned over to wink at me. All the while i was just standing there innocently minding my own business...turns out this old lady thought i was Wanting's mum, ask my aunt how come the mother never take care of her kid, should have hold her hand, blah blah. I feel wronged..especially when my aunt din clarified with the old lady. :(

Do i really look like a mum? Hmmm.

Ya man my blog is getting rusty Part 2: Day of a Chun Gu

Me, mum and baby went down to cwp to meet an aunt for lunch. Mum wanted to try out using a baby carrier, so with advice from a neighbour's maid who helped to adjust the straps and everything, off we're set to go!

The bad news is, by the way we reached cwp mum couldn't take it anymore. Somehow the straps keep slipping off her shoulders. She just wasn't used to it, and darn, she passed the duty on to me...

So I become a chun gu for a day! Tada!

It's something new to me..feels kinda primitive hehe...

My Aunt and mum at lunch..

Me without any make-up for ONCE (some of u gonna say tat rite? :P)

*For some dirty minds out there*
Some of the pics might seem vulgar, but its totally innocent! No sniggers allowed!

So tat's it..walking ard, buying 4D(my mum)...my back getting pained by the extra weight in front...but nope, its not from bigger breasts.

One stupid incident occured while we were rushing for the bus. This middle-aged guy n his lugguage was blocking the whole pavement, (his luggage on the inner side, him standing on the outer edge of the pavement) So we were repeatedly(AND POLITELY) going "excuse me" before he finally turned ard n shouted before giving way.

"cannot see I cannot move meh!? Walk down the pavement la! Got lugguage there how to move?!"

My mum shouted something back at him while i just walked on in disgust, bcos we still need to catch our bus. Pls lo...is he a piece of shit? Tat's the only explanation I can come up with, bcos shit have no eyes and they cun move. Plus they stink. ALL he needs is to take a step in front, and then stayed in the same line as his stupid piece of luggage, then he wun b blocking the entire pavement!

That pavement was a good distance away from the ground, and we have to walk further on before it slopes down to a point we can more easily step off. I was carrying baby and mum was carrying a few bags of groceries in both hands, how u expect us to step down n mantain our balance too? We need to jump down then, siao. And I can tell u there is no way my mum is going to be jumping at her age.

We were so fuming mad after that on the bus back home. Mum says if she is not carrying her groceries, she would have given him a kick. If I was not carrying baby, Ha! I WOULD HAVE PUNCHED HIS LIGHTS OUT. Anytime, anyday. Stupid A**.

Ya man my blog is getting rusty Part 1: JB Trip

Went down to JB to rebond my hair as i still have a stash of ang baos filled with ringgit tat i haven got to use it. mum wanted to go with me, so we set off with baby in our arms. My bro came to pick us up at msia custom and we went to Holiday Plaza to check if there are any good deals for hair rebonding. In the end i did the rebonding at the first shop we saw, as they have an offer for rebonding which costs 128 ringgit, super cheap!

The guy who did my hair was soft spoken, well dressed, and just a year younger than me. He did mentioned that i would look better with a perm, but perms are too high maintainence for me...so i just went ahead with the rebonding. No hair treatment was included, but i was planning to go back to do it another time.

There was a pleasant surprise in store for us: one of my aunts had won 10,000 ringgit tat day, so decided to treat us and our relatives to dinner. We then headed off this restaurant to meet up with the rest of the relatives. As we neared the table, to my surprise i could hear a chorus of kiddy voices.

"Yuanqi Jie Jie, Hilo Yuan Qi Jie Jie!"

Turns out my little cousins were there as well! I am so glad they remembered my name haha, even the youngest one who is only 4 years old and yelling my name as well :D

Once i reached the table, Natalie pulled me by the hand and said she wanted me to sit with her. But my brother kicked me out of tat seat, too bad..was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if all my cousins were located in spore? Tat would be wonderful!! I can bring the little ones(below ten yrs) out to the amusement park or beach, while with the others we can go to some "adult' outings. As it is, i onli see them once in a while for those in JB, not to mention the rest of those in KL, Malacca and Sabah.

The dishes were delicious, but the servings were kinda small...Tink its due to the fact that there were 14 people squeezed into a table? My bro n I still feel hungry not long after the dinner ended..haha. One of my little cousin Nicole came up to me and started asking if i will be in JB on sun, then can go out with them to play batminton n swimming with her n her frens. I was nodding and thinking, "ah?"
Hmmm.....her frens probably all ten yr olds rite? She took down my hp number using her dad's hp(haha) and said she will call me. Tats so funny..I still have one outstanding duty to teach her how to use friendster, n i owed 3yr old valeria a bicycle.

Was distracted midway through the dinner n started taking pics of my relatives eating...

Here are my little cousins together with my baby niece!~

(from left) Valerie, Natalie and Felicia

Me and Cheryl! She is 16yrs old i tink?

My little cousins!

My little cousins in the car when abt to leave shouting, "bye bye yuanqi jie jie! bye bye baby!"

not fun

saw this post in one of my fren's blog.

"And if 2008 was bad for you like it was for me, there's always 2009, 2010, 2011... and so on, to look forward to. Yeah.. as long as we live, I suppose there is something to perhaps look forward to, no? Otherwise, for what do we live? Gosh.. that is an ongoing question in my mind that I could never answer. Perhaps never will."

he has the same thinking as i do.
this is a really bad year, i hate it.
blogging is not so fun anymore when i can't voice out my thoughts publicly.
il est mon secret que je ne peux parler.
