Went down for morning ktv at civic centre.(11am-2pm) I only slept at 5plus the night bfore cos bro was at my hse yesterday..so when the alarm sounded at 10am..i groggily switched it off..woke up of my own accord at 10.40am..(OMG LATE!~~) rushed to pack up my stuff and reached at 11.30.
...soooo....rrrrr......yyyyy....
Had a great time singing, the onli thing is the lousy sound system tat screeches ever so often. We shd have thrown a hissy fit and smashed the mikes where it belonged(oh trashcan, there u r), but being patient n immensely tolerant, we rode out the storm. I like to sing with onli one person cos u can do watever u wan..*rubs my hands*...heh heh heh.
Proceeded to borrow books. My target was A Storm of Swords, but its on loan to my disappointment.
Met up with sis n mum for lunch and accompanied mum to clinic as she complained of abdomen pains. Doc suspected it to be hernia and advised her to go down to hospital immed for surgery. So we went off to TTS. Getting to be quite an expert at navigating in TTS. Only one time that we took wrong exit and wound up at the entrance of the mortuary..wah faster turn back the way we came. Spent the bulk of my time there. Docs over there suspected it to be a broken bone instead, but need further investigation bfore conclusion. So not sure if surgery is needed yet..going down to visit her in the noon tomlo.
Was reading this book "Talking of Love on the Edge of a Precipice" tat I borrowed after the ktv while waiting for the registration and admission..read abt half of it alry..but dun tink I will recommend it. Reason being it does not offer me much new insights, perspectives, nor revelations. Most of the author's writing does not strike a chord in me, his explanations are not easy to understand although I did try..the weird thing was I ended trying to analyze which category does the author belong to under the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator..cos even bloggers have diff styles of writing, which stems from the type of person they are...just an example la...
Was watching Taiwan's one million star season 2 to be broadcasted on tv next wk..but was watching on youtube..its soooo funny..had silent fits of laughter while palm-slapping the table.
